Sorry. Got distracted. Your flowers are just beautiful, Barbara. My grandmother had a wonderful camellia in her front yard, unfortunately gone now when the new owners cleared the entire block to build some monstrous house.

Heather, that cubby came in a flat pack, when I thought it would come already built!!! It was a labour of love. Have you thought about planting a camellia in memory of your grandmother’s?

I hadn’t. But our garden is a work in progress. Or more like a work not in progress. I wouldn’t know where to put one right now. Maybe one day.

This camellia was a gift from an aunt when we were married. It’s particularly special, as she’s no longer with us. I do like plants that remind me of people. 🙂

Yes, without snow, our winter is much milder by the coast. We do feel the winds off the snow from time to time. 🙂

Yes Amanda, there’s a lovely deep blue one, not sure if that is azure! Perhaps more Ultramarine? 🙂
