If I was to have just one thing in colour, I think it would have to be a tree. Food looks much more enticing in colour, so my choice would be, not an object as such, but a tree.

I wonder if that means your figs would always be green? Inside and out. I would miss the hues of a ripe fig and that lovely pinkish flesh.

You only have to look at the way we feel when we come out of a grey winter into the colours of spring to know what that might be like. Doesn’t bear thinking about really.
