Mutant and Hybrid
If you were one part human and two parts something else – another animal, a plant, an inanimate object – what would it be? Ben Huber
My strength and largess would be contained within a centuries old Huon Pine tree in the impregnable forest of the Southwest corner of Tasmania. My human heart would be transplanted deep within, pumping sap; my life- blood, throughout my enormous body. My branches would represent arms open to the elements accepting the bruising winds and rain, protecting those beneath me. Ancient knowledge would transpose, with constancy, the pollution of mankind’s thoughtlessness back into pristine air.
